spilling the beans ~ HTX caffeine

This post has literally been a YEAR in the making. I am a FIEND for good coffee and a nice aesthetic. Houston coffee culture is my absolute fave, and it's what really got me through college if I'm being honest. These are just 12 random coffee shops in no particular order. This post is just part one BTW. I have so many more spots to share because my coffee craze is never ending. Also, special shout out to every person I dragged to go on coffee dates with me, love y'all hehe.

Boomtown Coffee

300 Main St. Houston, TX 77002

A cozy coffee shop tucked in the heart of downtown! Not to mention, their coffee has my heart. I have yet to visit their location in the Heights, but it's definitely on my to do list!

Siphon Coffee

701 W Alabama St. Houston, TX 77006

I completely forgot to take pictures of the actual Siphon itself SMH, but I really love the vibe of this coffee shop. Not to mention, it's the perfect spot to study or catch up with a friend.

Wonderland

1463 Wirt Rd. Houston, TX 77055

An instagram-worthy spot. The aesthetic is vibrant and woodsy with all of the flowers and leaves that drip down the walls! You truly do feel like you're in Wonderland.

Campesino Coffee House

2602 Waugh Dr. Houston, TX 77006

"...a Latin take on Montrose coffee culture" Enough said.

Cavo Coffee

2617 Bissonnet St. #101, Houston, TX 77005

Cavo has two locations! This is the West University location. Both have different vibes but I prefer the aesthetic of this one! It's so chic and a lot more quiet than the Richmond location.

Bouchée Patisserie

1600 W. Loop S. Houston, TX 77027

Located within the Post Oak Hotel, this whimsical confectionary is perfect if you're looking for a little bit of a splurge. It's Parisian themed and the sweet delicacies pair perfectly with their lattes!

Decadent

4340 Westheimer Rd. Suite 150, Houston, TX 77027

Located seconds away from the River Oaks District, this gem is perfect for both coffee and dessert- and the options are endless. Their menu is EXTENSIVE so there's something for everyone.

Café Poêtes

122 W Gray St. Houston, TX 77019

This adorable French Cafe is located in Midtown. It's quaint and absolutely perfect for a cute brunch with the girls or a sweet little daytime date. I actually wish I took nicer pictures here because the pics I took don't do it enough justice.

Inversion Coffee & Art

1953 Montrose Blvd A, Houston, TX 77006

This art infused coffee shop is a dream. The spoons are pretty cool too.

Kraftsmen Baking

611 W 22nd St. Houston, TX 77008

I get a Romeo and Juliet vibe from this cafe. I think it mainly has to do with the long, flowy white curtains. Out of all the coffee shops listed, I think the design of this one is my favorite. It's tucked away in the Heights, so it's away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Catalina Coffee

2201 Washington Ave. Houston, TX 77007

Hands down probably the best coffee in my opinion. It's tiny, but it really feels like a true coffee house. I'd come back to this one again and again.

Woodbar

3939 Montrose Blvd. Houston, TX 77006

Next door to Canopy, but they actually permanently closed this location. I still wanted to add it for the mems :)

Okay, that's all for now, but I'll be back with more soon. Stay tuned!

-love Sof
